Welfare Day is still scheduled for April 1, 2020
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Social Development office is asking clients from La Ronge, Hall Lake and Sucker River that normally picked up their assistance cheques at the La Ronge and Hall Lake band offices to call in their banking information.
We are doing our best to come up with safe alternatives for cheque pick up for our clients. In order to limit the amount of clients coming in to pick up cheques we are willing to deposit your April assistance into your accounts.
If you have a CIBC or Conexus bank account, please call our office and provide us with this information.

Clients with store accounts, your cheques will continue to go to the stores.
Office Closure March 23 – March 27, 2020
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Social Development office will remain closed to the public from March 23 to March 27th.
Although we are not available for person to person communication, we have staff available to receive your phone calls and answer your questions regarding Income Assistance.
