JANUARY 13, 2021 – DEAR PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS
As you are aware Kitaski has been declared an outbreak by LLRIB Health and LLRIB. We are asking for everyone to be extra vigilant. Protect yourself, your family and others by following the Public Health precautionary guidelines and ensuring that we all do our part in preventing the spread of the virus.
LLRJB Internal council has approved all schools close for in-person programming for LLRJB schools in the communities ofKjtsaki (Bell’s Point Elementary School, Senator Myles Venne School), Hall Lake (Sally Ross School) and Sucker River (Chief Moses Ratt School). All schools will be implementing Distance Learning until the outbreak is declared over.
At this time, it is not known when the outbreak will be lifted, we will operate on a week-by-week basis. We ask you contact the schools every Friday for an update for the following week. We also ask you routinely check our social media sites for updates. Staff will be at the school to answer any phone calls if you have any questions.
If you or your child or family member that resides with you are experiencing any COVID19 symptoms, please contact the Health Line at 811 and stay home as advised. If medical attention is required, please call your health care provider ahead of time. If it is an emergency call 911. LLRIB members are asked to contact the Jeanie Bird Memorial Clinic for any questions @ (306)425-1720.
We are here to support your family and we appreciate your understanding and help to work together to decrease the spread ofCOVID19.
Thank you for keeping our children, elders and community members safe. Sincerely,
Simon Bird B.Ed, M.Ed, M.N.G.D
