Fire 🔥 is at the junction west of lynx lake.
Local fire crews have been deployed from Stanley Mission.
Road update: roads are open for south bound traffic. But won’t be allowed back unless they are essential staff. Please be mindful for those working along the roads & communities.
More equipment has been requested and outside agencies have been getting gear ready to send north.
Power is still out and on the ground working to speed up the restoration process for our northern communities.
All community services are still being continued, school being used for the food services and also Chester’s restaurant and Co-op are providing foods and snacks as well.
Local heavy equipment and with help from our contractors are helping with fire breaks around the community.
Please continue to help each other out and check up on those who may not have access to wifi or communication.
