COVID-19 and Variant Precautions

Road Monitors will be put back in place starting at 9 PM this evening. Except for essential services, non-community members will NOT be permitted to come in to any Morin Lake Reserve community.

Morin Lake Band Members are still permitted to leave the community and return for medical trips, groceries and traditional pursuits.

Everyone is encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing when going into public places outside our communities. If you need a mask or sanitizer, please call the Band Office.

We would like to remind the community members to continue respecting the social distancing guidelines by staying home and avoiding any non-essential travel out of the community. Community members are strongly encouraged not to travel south, including Regina or Saskatoon.

The need to protect the health of the community members requires the monitoring of the travel into and out of the community. Community members are strongly encouraged to STAY HOME AND STAY SAFE. We do not want COVID-19 or the Variant in our communities.

These check stops and access restrictions are being put in place for the safety and well being of all our community members.
