NOTICE TO: COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES IN THE LA RONGE BAND OFFICE
Re: CLOSURE OF BAND OFFICE THIS AFTERNOON AND TOMORROW, APRIL 15, 16
Good afternoon,
On Monday, April 12 we were informed that there was a confirmed COVID – 19 positive case in the Band Office last week. The person had attended a meeting in the Band Office. Those in attendance were required to immediately get tested and to self-isolate. Today, one of those employees received a confirmed COVID-19 positive test.
For the safety of employees and in order to have the Band Office deep-cleaned and sanitized, the management has decided to close the Band Office for the rest of the day and tomorrow. We are asking employees that work out of the Band-office to stay home and self-monitor, if you experiencing any symptoms, please call public health at 811 or (306) 425–1720. For those employees that have been named as close contacts, follow the public health order, get tested and self-isolate.
The Band office will re-open on Monday, April 19, 2021.
