The Lac La Ronge Indian Band Public Works & Housing Department is accepting applications for the following position:

OPEN COMPETITION
RENTAL OFFICER– Permanent Full Time
The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
- Record, track and collect rents from tenants in Band Housing Rental Units;
- Assist tenants with completing lease forms, and inform tenants on housing policy and guidelines;
- Provide program support to Housing Manager, Assistant Housing Manager, and Tenant Relations Officers ;
- Work with Band members to collect rent payments, and process monthly reoccurring rent charges in Xyntax;
- Issue notices to tenants on arrears of accounts;
- Perform office duties such as typing correspondence, filing, photocopying and data entry;
- Respond to general inquiries from Band membership about the Housing Program;
- Other duties as
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license;
- Minimum Grade 12;
- Office Education certificate
- Must have Basic office administration skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and accounting systems.
- Previous accounting experience is considered an asset;
- A combination of education and experience will be considered;
- Must be reliable, punctual and a team player;
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a busy office environment;
- Strong work ethic, excellent organization and communication skills;
- Ability to work well with others and maintain confidentiality;
- Ability to travel to LLRIB outlying communities when required.
Salary: Starts at $22.31 per hour
