The Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Education Department is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year, to fill the following Full-time term position based out of Senator Myles Venne School (SMVS) in La Ronge, SK:
PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Saskatchewan Professional “A” teaching certificate or Provisional Professional “A” Teaching Certificate
- Excellent classroom management skills;
- Ability to teach students of varying abilities;
- Teaching experience in a High School;
- Cross – Cultural experience is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License;
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;
- Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable);
