The Lac La Ronge Indian Band is now inviting applications for the following full-time position based out of the Band Office, LLRIB in Sucker River, SK:

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

• General office secretarial/receptionist duties;
• Answer/redirect in-coming/out-going correspondence;
• Providing administrative support as required: typing, photocopying, faxing, sorting/routing mail, and composing and preparing letters from general instructions
• Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer;
• Provide customer service and deal with the public;
• Order supplies and maintain inventory;
• Ability to present self as professional and demonstrate a caring and respectful attitude towards all community members;
• Ability to work well in a team approach;

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma;
• Office Administration and/or Office Education preferred;
• Combination of education and experience may be considered;
• Training in MS Office, or willing to receive training offered by the Employer;
• Experience in Administrative duties;
• Strong background in computers is essential;
• Experience using office equipment (i.e. fax machine and photocopier);
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proven interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Punctual and reliable;
• Ability to speak Cree is a definite asset;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential;
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred;
• Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
