The Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Keethanow Group of Businesses is now accepting applications to fill the following Permanent Part-Time position based out of Keethanow Corner Grocery, La Ronge, SK
Cashier
The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
- Greet customers entering establishments
- Oversee the store’s front-end with respect to loss-prevention
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Process / inspect merchandise returns and exchanges
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards
- Assist / listen to customer
- Ability to understand and operate cash register
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Multi-tasking multiple customers & situations time to time
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Able to work well under pressure and busy customer atmosphere occasionally
- Experience with handling cash and cash register is preferred
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
