Fire Ban Rescinded
June 8, 2026
RE: Fire ban – issued on May 27th, 2026
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band Emergency Management is rescinding the fire ban for LLRIB communities:
▪ La Ronge 156 & Kitsaki 156B
▪ Sucker River
▪ Stanley Mission
▪ Grandmother’s Bay
▪ Hall Lake
▪ Little Red Reserve
This fire ban is lifted effective immediately.
Recent precipitation has fallen and lower temperatures have reduced our fire hazard rating to a low-moderate level. Precipitation is also in the forecast in the near future. This is also in conjunction with the SPSA lifting their fire ban for the northern portion of the province.
We would like to thank you for your cooperation.
