Lac La Ronge Indian Band Public Works & Housing Department is now inviting applications for the following position:

CLOSED COMPETITION

Restricted to Band Members

   LABOURER (Carpentry) – Permanent Full-Time

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

• Be a crew member and perform basic carpentry/labourer duties
• Follow daily schedule as assigned by management and/or Crew Leader
• Maintain positive public relations on behalf of the department
• Perform other work related duties as assigned

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 10
• Previous Work Experience in residential carpentry is an considered an asset
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Must be a team player, motivated and possess a strong work ethic
• Must be willing to take direction from a supervisor
• Must be willing to work independently on various job sites

Salary:                                      In accordance with applicable salary grid
