The Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Sports and Recreation Department is inviting applications for the following Permanent Full-time Positions based out of Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre in La Ronge, SK:
JANITOR (2)
The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
• To perform general janitorial duties;
• Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment;
• Sweep, dust, vacuum the walk-way mats and clean entrances daily;
• Notify supervisor of damage and needs of repairs;
• Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, seminars and conferences when requested by supervisor;
• Prepare cleaning supply list and ordering.
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
• Follow and adhere to the LLRIB Personnel Policy Manual
• Maintain positive relations on behalf of JRMCSS Sports & Recreation Department and the Lac La Ronge Indian Band
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge and experience with maintenance & operation of equipment.
• Punctual, honest & reliable.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Valid WHMIS certification
• Valid Class 5 drivers license
• Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;
