LLRIB-EOC WILDFIRE & REPATRIATION UPDATE
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band Emergency Operations Centre (LLRIB-EOC) continues to lead wildfire response efforts across our communities while preparing for a safe and phased return of evacuees. We extend our deepest gratitude to the frontline workers and supporting communities for their strength and unity during this challenging time.
WILDFIRE OPERATIONS
Crews & Coverage:Crews are rotating in on 12-day shifts with quick turnovers to ensure 24/7 fireline coverage. New personnel continue arriving to boost response capacity.
Reinforcements Arriving:60 additional fire personnel landing the night of June 12
Suppression Progress:· Stanley Junction & Sucker River: Crews progressing steadily, helipads completed
· Stanley Mission, Grandmothers Bay & Missinipe: Rain has improved conditions; resources being redeployed for protection
Napatak & Potato Lake Fireline: Fire remains over 6 km south of Napatak. Structure Protection (SP) units and dozer lines are in place.
No controlled burns planned. Crews are actively working the fire head-on.
Weather Forecast: Cooler weather (18–20°C) with light rain (2–8 mm) expected over the next three days. Conditions will support firefighting efforts.
Smoke Movement: Smoke from B.C. and Alberta fires is moving east to northwest. Local skies are mostly clear, allowing for aircraft operations.
Fire Monitoring: Satellite scans continue every 90 mins–3 hours. Minor hotspots remain within burn areas—no new threats at this time.
COMMUNITY REPATRIATION
Brabant Lake Residents: Scheduled to return Thursday, June 12 at 9:00 a.m. from the hotel. Fire in the area is fully under control.
Transportation Update: Eight buses have been secured, with more on the way. Efforts continue with the Red Cross and urban shelters to support return for all members in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Regina, Lloydminster, Kindersley, North Battleford & Pinehouse and many other communities.

HEALTH SERVICES & INFRASTRUCTURE
Hospital ER Reopens:
Thursday, June 12 at 3:00 PMStaffing has increased and supplies are en route.
Power Outages:Rolling outages continue (9 AM–6 PM) north of the airport.

Road Access:
All roadblocks removed Thursday, June 12 at 8:00 AM No ID required. RCMP will be present to ensure highway safety.
Groceries & Fuel Supplies:Local fuel stations are well stocked. Grocery trucks arriving Thursday night or Friday morning (June 13). Co-op is replenishing shelves.
Housing Loss & Bridge Repair:· 14 homes lost in Sucker River, 6 in Hall Lake, 2 in Clam Bridge
· Temporary bridge being installed at Clam Bridge
AIRPORT UPDATE
Emergency Air Services Operational: Medevac (STARS, Rise Air, Northern Air) is fully functional. Civilian flights may resume after Friday, June 13

No controlled burns are planned in any LLRIB communities.
Crews may not be visible—but they are active and working hard.
