Overview
In March 1994, a Tripartite service agreement was signed with the Province, Chief and Council, and Lac La Ronge Child and Family Services Agency Inc.
The agreement authorized the agency to take direct operational responsibility for delivery of child and family services to Band members in the six LLRIB communities.
Initially in 1994, there were approximately eight permanent and non-permanent employees. As of April 2005, ICFS employed thirty-five permanent and non-permanent employees across program areas.
The ICFS Agency administers and operates services and programs subject to The Child & Family Services Act for Saskatchewan and ICFS Agency Policy & Procedures.

## Agency History

The agency grew from approximately eight permanent and non-permanent employees in 1994 to thirty-five employees across program areas by April 2005.

Services are delivered under The Child and Family Services Act for Saskatchewan and agency policy and procedures.
Program areas include Child Protection Services, Foster Care Services, Professional Management and Staff, Public Awareness and Education, Training in Human Resource Development, Program Evaluation, Family Support Services, Preventative Services, and Child and Youth Services.
