Overview
Pre-Employment Supports is a new program within the Lac La Ronge Indian Band that consists of a continuum of services and programming aimed at increasing an Income Assistance client's employability by addressing barriers to employment.
PES provides individualized supports in a service delivery case management model for 18 to 64 year old Income Assistance clients living on reserve.

## What is PES?
Pre-Employment Supports is a LLRIB program offering a continuum of services and programming aimed at increasing an Income Assistance client's employability by addressing barriers to employment.
PES provides individualized supports in a service delivery case management model for 18 to 64 year old Income Assistance clients living on reserve.
Case Workers complete individualized assessments and develop Mandatory Action Plans to identify how clients will remove barriers, build skills, and enter education programs that lead to training and employment.
## Supports and Incentives
PES may pay for childcare while clients attend training or workshops.
A training allowance may be provided on top of Income Assistance.
PES offers job readiness programming.
Mandatory Action Plans follow the AANDC, 2014 framework.
Possible services include literacy courses, budgeting, work skills training, safety training, resume support, interview preparation, career planning, referrals, and other employment-readiness supports.
