Providing employment, education and community services information and  support to LLRIB Members in urban areas.

The Urban Support Worker welcomes new information that can be added to support services required by LLRIB Membership.  Urban Members outside of Prince Albert are encouraged to contact the office by phone or email.

Employment Counselling
Job Board
An up to date listing of employment options in Prince Albert. Posted first will be employment listing of status organizations. Included are postings that are from Prince Albert and surrounding area.

Computer Access
Most places of employment have moved from in person applications to email, and other posting options. The Urban Support Worker may provide guidance and navigation suggestions for members to apply online. We can also practice printing and email to get you more comfortable with using the computer.
Computers may also be used to explore educational options in Saskatchewan

Job Search
Here at Urban Support, we provide computers for LLRIB member use. Members are able to produce their resume and cover letter and apply for jobs you may have found during your job search.
Additional supports may be applied for through the Urban Support Worker.

Room to discuss and explore education and employment options

Educational Support
Are you planning on attending school? Areas such as upgrading, ready to work, safety tickets, trades or university can be explored. The Urban Support Worker meets with local area Agencies to see what is offered, where it is offered and where to go for funding to aid you in accessing educational opportunities. Stop by the Urban Support office to find out what is available.

Providing local information to members who may be requiring support; such as housing, daycare or community services.
