Notice is hereby served that the LLRIB 2023 Election dates are as follows:
NOMINATION MEETING Thursday, March 9th
ADVANCE POLLS Wednesday, March 22nd
GENERAL ELECTION DAY Thursday, March 30th
ELECTRONIC VOTING
Commences at 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, March 18th
Ends at 11:59 p.m.
Wednesday, March 29th
PLEASE NOTE:
Notices confirming details and locations for Nomination Meeting, Advance Polls and General Election will be posted by mid-February. Information on Electronic
Voting will be posted no later than March 1st.
Information Package for Band Members seeking elected office (Chief or Councillor) will be available at all Band Offices and the LLRIB/community website by mid-February.
This is a reminder that all Candidates will be required to submit a name-based Criminal Record Check obtained within the previous six (6) months.
