Download PDF – COVID-19 Restrictions for all LLRIB businesses-facilities

As you are likely aware, the province of Saskatchewan has issued a rescindment of all public health orders which includes lifting the province wide mandatory masking requirement effective July 11, 2021 at 12:01 am.

Due to lower vaccination rates in our communities, it has been strongly recommended by our Medical Health Officer with NITHA that First Nations in Saskatchewan consider a more cautious approach to re-opening compared to the rest of Saskatchewan; therefore, the LLRIB will continue to observe safety protocol as mentioned in the Preventing COVID-19 in the Workplace Policy.

This means that mandatory masking and physical distancing within all LLRIB businesses/facilities shall continue until further notice.

Immunization continues to be the most important measure that can be taken to stop the spread of COVID-19 in First Nations communities.

On behalf of LLRIB, I would like to thank all our staff for their continued compliance and patience as we work to ensure a safe re-opening for our communities.
